Children Residential Support Worker (Level 3 Qualified)

Location: Telford (TF6)

Pay: £13.17–£13.50 per hour

Enhanced Pay: Double pay on all Bank Holidays + Triple pay on Christmas Day & Boxing Day

Hours: 2-week rolling rota (Days or Nights)

• Provide consistent, child-centred care for young people with complex needs

• Support routines, education, therapy, and meaningful activities

• Transport children to school, appointments, and community activities (driver essential)

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) — required

• A caring, reliable, and resilient practitioner

About Overley Hall

Overley Hall was established in 1980 by co-principals/husband and wife, Anita and Paul Brown; both from special education teaching backgrounds. They purchased the main building from the RNIB who ran a ‘Sunshine Home’ for children with visual impairments there from 1950 to 1979. The independent school/home was established to provide a specialised, residential learning and living environment for children and young people who have a range of complex needs in a peaceful rural setting. Over 40 years on and Overley Hall remains a family run company. Overley Hall Ltd. now comprises of Overley Hall School, Wellingtonia Children’s home, the Lodge and Woodlands – Adult Care Services. The service users at Overley Hall have a wide range of complex needs specifically linked to autism and learning difficulties.
